人の身体を支えるってどういうことだろう？そんなありきたりな疑問から生まれた人を支えるための道具「a cloth」。私たちが無意識に行なっている椅子に座るという行為に対して身体を支える構成のリサーチから要素を分解・再構築しました。 そこから必要最小限の基点を支える「着る椅子」の構想に至りました。 椅子と着たまま移動し、疲れたらどこでも座れる。そんな理想をカタチにしました。

What does it mean to support the human body?The tool “a cloth” was born from this commonplace question. We decomposed and reconstructed the elements of the structure that supports the body from research on the unconscious act of sitting on a chair.From there, we came up with the concept of a “wearable chair” that supports the minimum necessary points. You can move around while wearing the chair, and sit anywhere when you get tired. We have realized this ideal.
