人は生活の中で、空間や視線をさりげなく遮りたいときがあります。 壁や厚い隔たりを作らず、空間はつながったまま遮光できる新しい仕切りやカーテンを考案しました。 この道具は文字を隠す暗記シートから着想を得ており、赤と緑のプラシートを帯状にし、一枚の織物にしました。 補色の関係を利用し、重ねることで黒になる原理で、「透かす」「遮る」の二つの機能を持ちます。 織物は人類最初の四角形とされ、自然と幾何学を融合した原始的な手法です。重なる黒の空間には、微かに赤と緑の光のドットで、新たな模様が浮かび上がります。

People sometimes want to subtly block their view or create separation in their living space. We have devised a new type of partition or curtain that allows light blocking while keeping the space connected. Inspired by memory pens used to hide text, this tool features red and green plastic sheets in strip form, woven into a single fabric. By utilizing the complementary color principle, overlapping these sheets creates black, enabling two functions: transparency and opacity. The fabric is considered to be the first human-made square shape, an ancient technique that combines natural forms with geometry. In the overlapping black spaces, faint red and green dots of light appear, forming new patterns.
